Who we are
Our website address is https://learndataanalytics.ca. We operate as LDA or LearnDataAnalytics.ca or LDA (Learn Data Analytics).
General
LDA (Learn Data Analytics) is exempted by the Ministry of Education from being registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. LDA’s Data Analytics Certificate Course does not require approval by the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
The terms and conditions set out here represent a complete statement of the agreement between the parties and supersede all prior discussions, correspondence and representations. Our brochures and advertisements are for informational purposes only and are not intended to form any agreement between LDA and the recipient. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and changes will apply to any applications received after the date of the change. These terms and conditions may not be varied except in a written agreement signed by an officer of LDA. This agreement will be governed by Ontario law, without regard to any conflicts of law.

Privacy Policy
Prospective applicants to our courses must submit personally-identifying information as part of their application, sign up for the course, or fill out one of the forms on our website. We only collect information that is necessary or appropriate to address your questions, and queries or process your registration to our courses. Read more about our Privacy Policy here.
Course Deferral and Missed Classes
We want our courses to work for your schedule and your life. If you need to change your program’s start date, we’ll try our best to accommodate. Your first deferral for a program will be free of charge, and subsequent deferrals will be charged $250 plus HST. All requests must be received by the final deferral deadline for the session.
Missed classes are not LDA’s responsibility. Although we make all efforts to provide recordings, at times due to technical issues this option may not be available.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate students switching into other continuing education course sessions when a class is missed. Students who miss a class are expected to catch up on the material covered during their absence outside class time. We encourage students to contact their instructors if extra assistance with missed exercises is needed.
LDA is not liable for any other costs incurred due to a postponement of a course or workshop. This includes travel charges or other consequential damages, even if we are advised of them at the time of postponement.
Courses Fees
LDA will charge you fees to attend a Course. The amount of any fees may be revised by LDA from time to time and vary from region to region, and topic to topic.

All prices are listed without tax. 13% HST applies to all payments.

Information You Provide to Instructors
Your Instructors may ask you for information, including personal information, such as your email address, to help facilitate the provision of the Course. Instructors are required to use this information only to communicate about Course materials professionally. However, you agree that we are not responsible for any use of this information by an Instructor for other purposes.
Featuring Your Student Work
We may promote LDA using the work you completed as part of completing a Course ( “Student Assignments” or “Student Project”) with your permission, and you grant LDA a nonexclusive license to use your name in combination with your Student Work in any media in connection with LDA’s promotional efforts. Our use will be limited to promoting LDA. LDA will include your name and attribute the Student Work to you.
Chat Room Service, Blog Post & Google Classroom
You may be able to engage in online chat sessions with other users of the LDA, including Instructors, as well as post comments on blog posts. You should exercise caution, good sense, and sound judgment when submitting messages or information to be posted in a chat room or on a blog. Think – and read twice – before you post anything. Once something is posted online it may live in perpetuity, and messages posted today could be highly embarrassing or damaging to your credibility or reputation in the future. You are responsible for any comments or materials you post in a chat room or on a blog, and you assume all liability arising out of a post. We discourage the posting of sensitive or personal information in comments or posts and we are not responsible for the use of your personal information that you publicly post by any third parties. LDA makes no representations and warranties concerning the confidentiality of any posts you make through the LDA.
